Ode to the Salad 🥗

It doesn’t take a recipe or anything out of the ordinary.  A salad is a salad.  But they are seriously scrumptious and wonderful.  We eat salad three times a day.  Yes, you read that right.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It keeps you healthy, I promise.

We use an organic greens mix, sliced carrots, cucumbers, dried cherries, sharp white cheddar cheese, walnuts, red peppers, croutons (for special occasions), and either a homemade lemon dressing or balsamic vinegar with extra virgin olive oil.

Sometimes it gets grilled chicken or steak.  Shrimp on occasion.  Ground beef with taco seasonings too.  It all works.  But it’s buffet worthy and it’s friend time friendly.  Kids love them too.  I can’t stress enough how important it is to have it present at each meal.  You find yourself filling up on the right stuff!!

Try it, it’s worth it and your body will thank you down the road.
