Salsa 💃 dancing that is….
Bestest salsa ever and it’s not just my little family that agrees.
1- 32 ounce can of organic whole peeled roma tomatoes (no basil)
1 whole quartered yellow onion
Juice of 1 lime
1 tsp sea salt
2-3 jalapenos (do not remove the seeds) ( I start with 1 and add from there – because they’re hit or miss but don’t want to throw in 3 super hot ones and end up in the ER – ha!)
Pinch of sugar
1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro
OK and can I be honest…Just throw it all in a blender and hit blend.
Maybe a minute or until it looks like the consistency you see in the photo.
Dip in a chip and test the level of heat.
Sometimes I will take tortillas and fry them in oil, sprinkle them with some salt and serve those with this salsa, it’s a big big hit.
That’s it and I literally serve it with any Hispanic or Spanish dish that I make, and heaven forbid I forget to put it on the table, someone will remind me it’s missing.
