It has come to my attention that Chocolate chip cookie dough is an extremely versatile cookie dough base. Since Will isn’t a fan of chocolate (and neither am I to be honest) the base is fantastic for rainbow sprinkles or dried cranberries or toasted flakes of coconut.
Logan had an early basketball game this morning and much to my surprise ( after last night’s loss) they came out on top by almost 20 points. I also took two of his teammates home and decided to make some confetti cookies for them.
With the chocolate chip cookie base and the best rainbow sprinkles ever, out of the oven came little circular chewy gobs of rainbow goodness.
I have yet to invest in a cookie scoop so I used the tablespoon to help me round out these yummies. The fellas loved them too, warm out of the oven and all.
Now it’s time for more basketball thanks to NBA2K…..
2 sticks of unsalted butter
2 3/4 c flour
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar (I use light brown)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
Rainbow sprinkles ( as much as you’d like)
Cream together the sugars and butter, then beat in the eggs and vanilla
In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients
Mix them all together and scoop them out
375 degrees for 8 min one tray at a time
And voila ….yummyness 🌈☺️
